| Peking University, Renmin University of China Students Visit Sumikin Bussan |

In conjunction with NPO Nicchuu Kouen Industry-University Exchange Organization, sixteen students from Peking University and Renmin University of China visiting Japan once again this year visited Sumikin Bussan's Tokyo headquarters on Thursday, February 5th, one of several visits to various Japanese corporations.
Textiles Company President and Tsuneaki Eguchi gave a lecture on the present conditions surrounding the Japanese market for the textile industry, including China's relationship to the rest of the world. The students enthusiastically asked questions, and were particularly interested in how Japanese corporations viewed China's growing role in the world.
Having the opportunity to engage in a discussion with Chinese college students, Sumikin Bussan feels it has an even deeper understanding of China as a nation. Going forward, the Company will actively consider further opportunities for cultural exchange through presentations and lectures for foreign students. |
