On May 9, 2007, Kashii Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Toyama City, Toyama Prefecture; President: Yoshimi Aoki), an affiliate of Sumikin Bussan Corporation, was certified under the ISO 9001:2000 international standard for quality management systems. This standard aims to enhance quality assurance and other aspects of customer satisfaction.
Kashii Co., Ltd. began building a framework and taking concrete steps toward certification in June 2006 and successfully passed on-site inspections carried out on April 25 and 26, 2007.
