In agricultural products, we import and sell pumpkins grown on contract farms in New Zealand and Mexico, and adzuki beans, peanuts and other legumes, as well as pasture hay for animal feed.
The pillars of our marine product business are purchasing snow crab from Canada, red crab from Uruguay and king crab from Russia; shelling and other processing at plants in China; and importing the final products to Japan. In China, we also process shishamo smelt from Canada and sardines from the United States. We also import shelled shrimp from India and Vietnam, and octopus from Mauritania and Morocco.
